Sigurður Edgar
Andersen

Sigurður Edgar Andersen is a performance artist. He first  trained in ballroom dancing from 12-18 years of age but then while living in Stockholm he found a new outlet for his creativity in Burlesque art. He worked professionally around Europe and in New York before returning to Iceland to study acting at the Icelandic Film School, where he finished a 2 year diploma program. He has since been very active in the Icelandic theater and dance scene with "SO WHAT" - a devised piece opposite Árni Pétur Guðjónsson, directed by Rúnar Guðbrandsson.  Black birds - a dance piece created by Lára Stefánsdóttir and Regin Smiður -  an Opera by Sunleif Rassmussen that premiered in Faroe Islands with coroegraphy by Lára Stefánsdóttir.
